Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese meditative exercise with slow and graceful movements that help you stretch, breath and find balance.
Most forms of Tai Chi are very gentle and therefore suitable for everyone. The movements focus on technique as opposed to strength, therefore, anyone can practice regardless of physical ability or age!!
Tai Chi is especially beneficial to those who are recovering from a physical illness or an older person who may not consider the ‘traditional’ form of exercise.
Regular practice will improve your:
- Balance (reducing the risk of falls)
- Concentration
- Energy, stamina & agility
- Flexibility
- Muscle strength
