Firstly let me tell you a little about my background; I have been teaching health related fitness classes for many years. I am a qualified Exercise Professional and registered with The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and the Stress Management Society as a recommended practitioner.
Supple Strength classes build core strength, increase your range of movement (flexibility), improve balance and give you a sense of wellbeing.
Everyone is welcome, I have men and women attending from complete beginners through to the fit and athletic; exercises can be adapted to take it easy or work harder.
Before you Exercise:
If you have any back issues, you need to be ‘relatively’ pain free to attend Yoga or Pilates. Please seek professional advice from an osteopath or chiropractor if in any doubt.
If you are pregnant I can adapt the exercises as you grow! As long as you have a healthy pregnancy you should enjoy and benefit from the class. If in doubt check with your doctor, midwife or a health care professional first.
If you have any other doubts about your health or starting a new exercise regime please check with your doctor first. You will be asked to complete a physical activity awareness questionnaire at your first session.
