Following on from the successful trip to Broadstairs in 2023 we have been asked to repeat this trip again whilst the Folk Week is in full swing. Explore award-winning Blue Flag sandy beaches; a delightful range of independent shops in the traditional High Street and cliff top walks to neighbouring Ramsgate and Margate. Dine in a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The town’s most famous resident has to be Charles Dickens who’s house, “Bleak House”, overlooks the main Viking Bay. In the high Street you will find boutique shops as well as some of the more well known names. Broadstairs has everything for a delightful day out at any time of the year. However, by request, we have picked this date because it is part of “Folk Week” so there will be additional attractions. The coach will drop you right by the Bandstand where a lot of the events are being held. There are more performers on the small pier and along the promenade. This will make it a memorable day out.
