Several people have been asking us to consider visiting Arundel Castle in April as it’s a sea of colour during the Tulip Festival. The nearby town of Arundel enters into the festival, making the whole area a brilliant vibrant colourful experience. The price includes entry into Arundel Castle & the grounds for the Tulip Festival. In the town of Arundel you will find many small shops, many decorated for the Tulip Festival. We are told the Arundel Museum, situated in the town, gives an entry discount if you show your Castle ticket.

If the weather is nice, the river Arun runs through the town and its a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the wildlife or if you are feeling energetic, take a walk along the towpath.

NOTE FOR THE LESS ABLE

The castle has a buggy that runs from the coach park up to the Castle via the Castle grounds. It runs all day but at busy times this may involve a long wait
