ARDLEIGH HOUSE

COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

Working for you and the Local Community

Computer classes are small and held in our personal, specially equipped, computer room where all the students machines are under the control of the tutor Ray Newell. Many “Silver Surfers” prefer our intimate teaching method as they do not feel intimidated.

Our most popular class is “Computers for Beginners” where we assume you have never used a computer before. In fact, during the past year we had to run two classes for beginners and this is continuing for next year.

Classes are also available for word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, Internet and emails and digital photography at various levels from beginners to the more experienced.

For those who just like messing about with computers we run our computer club. No set agenda, the club does what the members want each week. So popular we have had to split the club into two classes.

In the Digital Photography class we show you how to:-

Down load your pictures from your camera to your  computer.

How to copy your photos to a CD or DVD.

How to view your pictures on a television.

How to lighten/Darken your pictures.

We even show you how to remove unwanted items from  your pictures. (Like the ugly wall behind the subject or  that unwanted litter bin in the picture).

We even show you how to add something or someone to  your pictures.
