ARDLEIGH HOUSE
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
Working for you and the Local Community
This picture is all that remains of the original Ardleigh House
Ardleigh House Community Association, founded in 1946, is located next to Havering College and is a Community Association and registered charity run by an elected committee under a constitution.
Ardleigh House serves the local community by offering leisure classes and a place
for groups to meet within the community. It is a registered charity, is non-profit
making and self-financing but it is able to offer a wide range of activities to a
wide age group. We run classes, both day and evening, for adults of all ages, including
Yoga, Art, Craft and Computers for Beginners. Various clubs such as Short Mat Bowls,
Model Engineers and Camera Club are run for its members. There are spaces available
in most of the classes and some of the clubs would welcome new members.
Ardleigh
House has three function suites including licensed bars that are hired out for social
events, weddings parties etc and a snack bar that is open daily serving hot and cold
food for members and the public. We also have several rooms for hire for meetings,
presentations etc, these are available days and evenings.
Why not support your local
Community Association? Pop in and have a look at the facilities available. Have a
cup of tea and a snack in the Lounge and chat to the members and users of Ardleigh
House. Take a copy of the prospectus and browse through all the classes and clubs
that are on offer.
Any queries can be answered by the office staff who will be delighted
to hear from you on 01708 440660. We welcome new members to our association, to our
clubs and classes.
